Sorry about the snafu earlier (if you didn’t see it, good!).  My entire post just poofed when I published it, just a not-so-nice empty post.  So, here goes take two:

I did this CVS deal during vacation this past week.  We needed diapers and though I typically prefer Huggies (Pampers is good too, but rarely get the deals on Pampers that I do on Huggies), there just didn’t seem to be much happening in the Huggies diaper deals department at the time.  I’m not too big on using “generic” diapers and though these do kinda remind me of that “brick baby” commercial, they not too bad.  Yesterday I even did the Walgreen’s brand diaper deal.  Hopefully this will tie me over til Huggies has another great deal.  Hint, hint Kimberly Clark!  LOL! 

The CVS baby care weekly deal was spend $15, get $5 ECBs,limit 1,  so I purchased diapers, diaper rash cream, and cotton swabs as part of that deal.  The other items – Shampoo, Conditioner, gum were all freebies!  Gotta love the buy one get one free sale when you have buy one get one free coupons!  The Trident Xtra gum monthly deal is buy 2 get $1 ECB, limit 5.  I did this once already, so I had 4 deals left.

(2) CVS diaper rash creams @ 3.00 = 6.00
(2) CVS cotton swabs @ 1.50 = 3.00
(8 ) Loreal Vive Pro shampoo / conditioner @ 4.99, bogo sale, (4) bogo coupons = FREE
(20) Trident Xtra gum packs @ 1.49, bogo sale, (10) bogo coupon = FREE

I did this deal on Monday and they accepted the $3/$15 coupon since it was only one day out.  I used the Loreal bogo coupons from 7/13 and Trident bogo coupons from 7/20.
