OK, I have been debating something for a little while now and I’ve just decided to lay it all out on the table and kinda let the cards fall where they may, LOL!  I joined a contest at the beginning of July (some of you may have already heard of it – Blogging Idol) where the contest is to see who can get the most subscribers during the month of June.  I joined just for fun since I knew it would be mid-month before the blog was ready to go live, and then ended up being later than that… and with the launch party kicking off the new blog with barely a week left of the month… I wondered if it was even worth it. 

I was talking this over a little bit with a friend of mine who basically suggested I go ahead and give it a whirl and really go for it, so here I am appealing to you to help me make this happen.  This type of contests seem to go more to the “techy” blogs and not us cool mama blogs, so what do you say about helping me to turn the tables on them?  I’m going to be upfront, it is a mighty tall mountain, but I’m all for climbing it! 

This is what I was thinking…  if miracles happen and I actually win this thing, I am going to put together a mighty nice prize and offer a giveaway drawing to those who subscribed to the blog (using feedburner) during July.  The deadline is July 31, and the current winner has increased by about 450 or so – and since I started at 0, 450+ is what I am aiming for.
