Are You Lovin’ My Blog Design As Much As I Am? GIVEAWAY CLOSED

I’ve been really good and waited (and if you know me, the whole waiting thing isn’t something I’m always especially good at… not when I’m excited anyway.  Procrastinating is another topic and one that we just aren’t going to discuss right now.  We’ll do that tomorrow. ;) )  Anyhoo… back to me holding in my excitement…  And now not having to…  (I was free to gush previously but was afraid I’d slip up and say something before it was ready, so that’s why I waited)….

I’ve gotten a lot of really nice compliments about my blog design.  Personally, I love, love, love it.  I don’t really have to gush, but I am since I can’t help myself.  Shera is very talented and oh so patient (she dealt with me, y’all, so I promise she’s patient!).

It was a long road getting from the light bulb moment where I wanted a new blog and a great design to go with it, to searching for the right person (and an affordable price tag!) to create the blog design, to the one step forward, two steps back dance actually getting the domain & hosting and all the other misc stuff, to finally launching the site.  Thank you, Shera, for creating exactly what was in my head (oh, and for that let me apologize, cause in my head in a very dangerous place to be – should have told ya to double check your hazard insurance!).

Many of you already know Shera.  Possibly as the mom of all the little froggies at A Frog In My Soup or at Froggy Reviews or at her blog design biz Sweet-N-Simple Design or possibly from The Sampler feature at 5 Minutes For Mom or maybe even as one of the admin at Faith Lifts.  Gosh, if you haven’t met Shera yet, you might oughta get out more.  ;)

Shera is simply amazing and has created two more wonderful things for the bloggy world.  One is an of-shoot of Sweet-N-Simple Design, SNS Blog Design: pre-made blog templates for WordPress (self-hosted) and Blogspot.  (If you have Typepad, she can work with that too.)  If you are looking to get a blog makeover, but not yet ready for a complete custom job, then I would suggest checking out the great designs at SNS Blog Design.

The other great thing Shera has been up to is creating a blogging center if you will – including hosting and design.  Think of it as the new cul-de-sac on the internet.  However, the property isn’t ready to build homes upon it yet.  THAT announcement will come later.  ;)   (And in case I’ve already given too much info, just tell Shera you don’t know nothin’ if she asks!)  In the process, Shera has also created the Mom Blog Central community on the Ning platform.  You are invited to join in the fun!

NOW… for the really great part…..

Shera is going to present one lucky Shake The Salt reader with the winner’s choice of designs at SNS Blog Design!  To enter, check out the designs and come back and let us know your favorite(s).

For an additional entry, sign up at Mom Blog Central and let them know Shake The Salt sent you scurrying over.  ;)   It is completely free and you may already be familiar with the Ning platform.

And of course, signing up for my RSS Feed gets you another entry too, so that this giveaway gives you three chances to win (because the prize is really that great!).

Deadline to enter: 11:59 PM EST August 25, 2008

Open to everyone!

The Queen Blogger feels like “me”.

bridesmaiddresses April 6, 2011 at 5:02 am

Being a bridesmaid is an honor and a responsibility. Bridesmaids support the bride emotionally, help with wedding planning tasks of all sorts, and can bear a significant financial burden. While you want your maid of honor and bridesmaids to look beautiful at the wedding, you also want to keep their monetary obligation to a minimum.
