I learn something new today. NEVER microwave a brocolli. I mircrowave them all the time thinking that boiling them will loose the vitamins because it goes all in the boiling water…so microwaving it would make most sense and looks really fresh and not soggy. Great article on the brocolli,

I like all of the resources on preschool education that are available on the site. I am a teacher and my wife (a stay at home mom) has her degree in early childhood education, so we are both really interested in getting both of our kids ready for when they start school. Busy Mommy is a great place to get some ideas.

I love how they have different sections that pertain to different lifestyles such as working moms and stay at home moms. I also love the frugal section since everything is going up in prices so much.

I was horrified by the article entitled ‘Hand sanitizers and Triclosan’. Oh my gosh, Triclosan is a pesticide! And is found in a mothers breast milk . . . I’m going back to soap and water, thank you.

Love the article 10 ways to go green with your kids. Play games that involve earth friendly concepts. If you’re going on a road trip maybe try to have the children spot windmills and explain what they are. Have them try to find a Hybrid and expain what a Hybrid car is is one way listed.

Hey Ya’ll I found a website that you can donate shoes and dress-up dresses. The shoes is for people to can not buy a pair of shoes for maybe a job hunt and they give them the shoes the same for the dresses, for teenagers maybe for the prom who can afford a nice dress.
