The storm has passed, the electricity is back on, and the house is a horrible mess…
Therefore I clean.
Starting with the laundry & washing the load in the washer for the THIRD time. Electricity outage defeated the two prior attempts (washed almost all the way through before losing power!). Laundry in, laundry out, trying to catch up.
The living room looked like a toy store exploded in there! Amazing how moving all the toys back to B.’s room made it go form looking trashed to clean instantly.
The there’s the 100 other daily tasks and pickups I just didn’t feel like doing because the power was out and it was HOT.
