Tres Couture had been a lifelong dream of mine since I was probably 4 or 5 years old and I would go into my Grandmother’s spare room and play with her sewing machine. I always had a passion for crafting and just using my imagination to make doll dresses out of my Grandmother’s doilies and other little things she had around the house. I started a clothing company when I was 18 years old and lacked the confidence it took to make it succeed so, sold the ideas all over to a friend. Again, when I had my 1st child, I tried to start again but time was now the enemy! Finally, right before the birth of my 2nd child, the night before I went into the hospital to give birth, I made him a blanket and pillow. That was my first blanket ever.
Now, almost 3 years later, I make blankets, burp cloths, bibs, wallets, purses, and much more to come! I would love to encourage every woman and mother out there who wants to do something… do it! To be able to do what I love and raise my children is such an amazing thing and I love it! I love being able to make lovely things for babies and mamas to cherish for years to come!
