This is nowhere near as good as my previous Walmart deal where I spent $2 and saved $102 (way over that actually if you add up “on sale” items, which Walmart does not break down), but I did get a lot of FOOD items, plus oodles of other stuff. I purchased more one-subject notebooks (you cannot beat the price at 5 cents each!!) and since I found out the regular price, I have a note about additional savings on that one (that isn’t part of the savings total I’m stating for this transaction)…. So here goes….

That is great shopping. I just wish there was coupons for milk. Isn’t the price outrageous? Quick question as you seem to be more of an expert at this.
I saw a deal for buy 2 for $5. Now if I have (this was cereal) two buy 2 cereals and get $1 off can I use both of them to pay only $3? Or can I only use one? I’m subscribing for the answer.
Thanks so much. I also just found out one of my grocery stores do double coupons. Woo hoo!

Great job! I’m still learning and trying to save more at the grocery store. I love the Buddies soap deal, so fun!

If a coupon states $1 off 2 items, then you can only use 1 per each 2 items you buy. To use two of those, you would need to buy 4 items.
You can check for coupons in the 50 cents off 1 ballpark (see the frugal deals roundup post and go to the HCW database link). Since your stores double, this would make it $1 off each box. An even better deal if the sale was bogo.
We don’t get doubles here!
Thanks for subbing!!
