So, I did some more thinking last night, in between writing the post and falling into bed. I started clipping away at the Fitness magazine – I found a “Firm Up Fast” 7 day guide & a “Quickie Boot Camp” formula – and instead of having a fried egg sandwich as a late night snack, I had lettuce, a little bit of grilled chicken, topped with South Beach Living ranch dressing, and a carrot.
According to the Firm Up Guide (a cardio, flexibility, and strength-building routine), today’s activity is to try a dance class or work out to a dance DVD. I guess I need to locate my fitness DVDs or maybe just find some tunes to put on? The instructions say that each day’s activity should be done for 20 minutes, and up to 60 minutes if you are more advanced.
The salad was a good move last night (though I haven’t done shopping for a healthier eating plan yet, so we’ll see how that goes), but actually doing those 20 minutes today will kill me be a good start.
Thank you for visiting the original Shake The Salt!!
