I received Fitness Magazine in the mail today (Tuesday) and it got me thinking… again…
Tonight, I talked to a couple of friends about the South Beach Diet and I printed off the Phase One foods and foods to avoid lists. I’ll have to do some shopping, so it would be next week before I start on it.
My main concern is a lack of motivation. I have great reasons for eating healthier and getting fit, but procrastination and bad eating habits seem to rule.

Good luck! I am also trying to be a little bit healthier. I am not disciplined enough to follow a diet so I am just trying to eat better and trying to not do the “sweet snacks” at night. I did try cutting way down on sugar by using substitutes but the only one I can stomach is Splenda. Aspertame makes me sick as well as some of the others. I cannot motivate myself to workout but I am somewhat active.
