I’d like to introduce you to Freepeats.org, a wonderful group that turns one year old today, November 1, 2008.  I’m sure many of you are familiar with the Freecycle method… Freepeats is similar, but it specializes in maternity, baby, and kid items {including checks for formula & other coupons}.  It is currently up and running in 35 markets, with further expansion planned for 2008 (2 new markets opened today!).

Normally, there is a one-time membership fee of $4.95, but for the week of 11/1 – 11/8, all new memberships are 100% free. Now is the time to see if your area is available and sign up!

Following is a list of current cities that are up and running (you can sign up if you live in the metro area, you do not have to live directly within the city listed):

Thank you for taking this opportunity to converse about this, I feel strongly about it and I like learning about this subject. If possible, as you gain data, please update this blog with new information.
