It is time again to take a moment an report in about how you took a moment for yourself – to pamper, to relax, etc – this past week.  For me, a time or two this past week, I took my son’s naptime and just relaxed. Typically, I try to get a little extra work in since I’m less distracted and not up and down. Admittedly, I didn’t get as much done, but it felt great.

How {and what} did you do?  Post about it on your blog and link back here or share in the comments.

I get my me time by having one on one time with the hubby after my kiss gremlin goes to sleep. It’s the perfect time to have a complete conversation without baby interjections! :)

Oops- okay, I was trying to just leave a comment. I didn’t post this on my blog (since it’s not a personal blog), but I will share what I do for my “me time.” I like to just hang out with my husband once my son’s asleep. I also enjoy going out with my girl friends- we try to have dinner, or go do something fun at least every once in a while.

I have been using my Wii Fit. It seems more like a game than exercise and it’s fun.

I get “ME” time late at night after everyone has gone to bed. I make myself a cup of spiced orange tea, put the TV on what I want to watch, turn out all the lights, and relax for about an hour before I go to bed.

I have my “Me” time after I put my 7yr old & 1 1/2yr old to bed, get a nice long shower, do my shot for my MS and finally I can put a comfy long PJ shirt on & lie in bed to relax and watch tv with my husband. This “Me” time is nice because I can relax and just do nothing and be comfy cozy.

I try to enjoy a bit of Me time when the kids head off to school. I like to catch up on some reading with a cup of good java and a warm bubbly bath. Its invigorating and helps motivate me through all the endless chores that need tending to.

I found some “me” time this week while sitting in my vehicle waiting for my doctor’s appointment. I had grabbed my Suduko book and brought it with me. I arrived 40 minutes early and took 30 minutes to myself and sat in my car listening to my radio and playing Suduko. Great me time!

I took an extra long warm shower. My kids were both crying and whining for things right outside the bathroom door, so I turned up the music and ignored them. I really needed the break… it was great.

This last week was kind of a hard one for me. The stress was building and I just wasn’t feeling great. Last Thursday some friends were getting together for a game night and I almost didn’t go because I felt bad leaving hubby with the kids, especially since I’d been so cranky. But he told me to go, and take time for myself. I did, and I felt so much better afterwards. Next week I will post about it and link up! Thanks!

This week, instead of cleaning the house during naptime, I sat and entered giveaways! Although, I’m pretty excited about them, so I’m not sure how relaxing it ended up being :)

I’m in my second trimester with our second (just found out today that we’re having a boy!). We have an (almost) 2yr-old daughter, so I relaxed during naptime today looking at all the adorable baby boy things online and daydreaming about what it will be like to have a boy and a girl, rather than cleaning the house!

I take time for me when my daughter is at work, and my hubby is on night shifts (he’s an alternating shift worker). Sometimes I go out and find a nice spot to take a few sunset photos, or I take one of my three rescued MinPins for a really long walk, or I take my camera out and just go looking for something interesting to take a few photos of. Other times, like when the weather is bad, I stay at home and make scrapbook pages or jewelery or I quilt or knit something for one of my friends or family members - crafting is my “me” time.
