Ah… I am enjoying some “me time” right now.  Laundry is going, dishes are soaking in the sink (and will continue to wait patiently until my “me time” is complete), Lil Roo is down for a nap, I am enjoying some lunch, a soft rain fall, I’ve lit a heavenly candle (that I just have to tell you about!) and I am basking in the quietness of this moment. {And thinking about the awesome “me time” I am going to have when I head off for some pampering thanks to my birthday gift from Hubs yesterday. Now to just coordinate with his schedule so he can and Lil Roo can have daddy-son time while I get my pampering!}

When this scrumptious candle arrived in the mail, I didn’t know whether to eat it or burn it.  It looks like a real pie – yum!  It is a 3” pecan pie candle from Simone’s Country Candles and smells wonderful even when it is not burning.  They have all sorts of cakes, pies, misc pastries, and even milkshakes.  If you like to include candles as part of your pampering moments {or for any purpose}, you are going to love these. They would also make fun birthday (they have birthday cakes of course!) and Valentines Day gifts.

So.. tell me about you and your week.  Were you able to get in some time to yourself to relax, get pampered, do something you enjoy?  Dish it! I want to hear all about it, so blog about it and link it up or use the comments section.

    My me time was during the Super Bowl yesterday. While the guys were watching the game, I watched a “chick flick” in the other room.

    I work PT nights as a surgical nurse at a local hospital. I come back in time in the morning to have breakfast with the kids and see them off to school. Then I enjoy a nice, quiet bath in a nice, quiet house & infuse my favorite candles (I have a candle warmer, much safer) and cuddling up with a good book until I fall asleep. I wake up usually very refreshed and rejuvinated in time for the kids after school.

    My me time this week was my day off from work - the hubby was gone at work, I made him take the car so that I wouldn’t get distracted with errands, and I took a walk out in the gorgeous sunshine, trying to get my energy up. I’m pregnant and enjoying these last few quiet weeks before our precious daughter arrives.

    Me time is in the am before my son wakes up.
    Coffee and computer!
    Good music from Napster online and I am set to do all my fav things online.
    Because when he wakes up,
    he is looking with too much intent on our only computer. Wish we had two of them.

    My “me” time happens in the morning before the kids get up for school. When I have quiet time, if I don’t get it done then it just never seems to happen!

    Its so hard to have me time! I just started a new job and I am exhausted when I get home!! But I made sure I ended the day each day with a nice long bath, even if it was late because everyone had gone to bed! It really helps me relax!

    My me time is as soon as the kids are off to school. I grab a large coffee and my laptop. Surfing the web is very soothing for me.
