I’ve “heard” about digestive yogurts, and to be honest, they just didn’t have a “yum” sound to it, so I admit I was a little leery of giving it a taste test. Not only did I have concerns about the taste of digestive yogurt, but I was never able to eat a lot of yogurt in one sitting.
I cautiously gave the new Yoplait YoPlus Blueberry Acai Yogurt a taste test…

I have a new midnight snack.
A healthy midnight snack. {Next step is not eating at midnight, lol.} Not only is it very tasty, but they come in 4 oz cups, which I love. In addition to tasting yummy and coming in a perfect size cup, they have many other wonderful benefits:
Yo-Plus contains special probiotic cultures and fiber to help naturally regulate your digestive health.
Yo-Plus is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin D, and calcium.
Yo-Plus has the rich, creamy, taste of Yoplait.
Each cup has 110 calories (only 10 from fat), 1.5g of fat, and 4 grams of protein. Score!
Don’t just take my word for it, though – try it for yourself!
Yo-Plus Yogurt, $1.98 @ Walmart
$1.50/1 printable coupon (You can print 2!)
Only $0.48 after coupon!
I also have THREE pretty awesome Yoplait gift packs to give away. Included in the Yoplait gift pack is a zippered insulated bag (which would be great as a grocery bag for your cold items), a water bottle, a nutrition journal, and a coupon for a FREE package of Yoplait YoPlus Blueberry Acai Yogurt.

To enter, leave a comment telling me about your current health goals (can be long term or short term) and how Yoplait YoPlus Blueberry Acai Yogurt can help you reach those goals.

My goal is to go to the gym first thing in the morning, before my son and husband get up. My problem has been finding something small to eat before I go (I have to eat something first thing in the morning.) I think that this would be a great food to eat before I go work out!

My goals are to eat regular healthy meals (since I often skip meals or eat at weird hours). Adding in some exercise, I’ll hopefully lose a few pounds. The Yoplait could help because it’s a quick easy breakfast solution!

Well..I’m currently trying to eat healthier by bringing my healthy lunch to work each day rather than eating out like I used to 4-5 times a week. I’ve been doing this for several weeks now and liking it!! I’ve never tried this…I think it would be a great addition to my daily lunch…to help my digestive track and to keep me healthy. I love that this yogurt is so good for you yet tastes great!!

Currently, I am trying to add more dairy, fruit, and vitamins into my diet since I don’t usually eat much of anything except for wheat products like pasta and such. The yogurt will give me a serving of my dairy, and a bit of fruit along with tons of vitamins. I’m hoping I’ll use this as a start to get more fruit and dairy into my diet.
44 March 31st, 2009 at 11:45 pm
I’ve heard Acai is the magic super fruit and I’m having difficulty eating my medicine and usually have to drink it with water. Water doesn’t do well with my medicine since it dissolves very quickly and that’s not supposed to happen so my doc. told me to drink it with milk. I haven’t been keeping down milk well for a while so I’m going to try yogurt. It has the same properties as milk mostly and it even tastes better! I hope the yogurt works and the Acai berry will help my immune system keep down milk.

I’m just recovering after a gigantic cold that I had for about three weeks. This yogurt helped me through it since it got me the vitamins that I needed and it helped with my digestion which wasn’t going too well.
46 March 31st, 2009 at 11:51 pm
I’ve noticed that I add berries to my yogurt but never eat berries any other time. So if I eat a healthy calcium and vitamin rich yogurt everyday and I add berries to my yogurt, then I will have a pretty good amount of calcium and fruity vitamins!

I was having horrible digestion two weeks ago and I just ate one of these yogurts a day, within a couple of days, I had a much better digestion. It was fantastic!

yogurt will help you fight junk food loving bacteria in your stomach. Instead, it’s because low-fat yogurt is high in calcium and protein, while still having enough carb and fat content to help you feel full. Just be sure to steer away from yogurts with added sugar and artificial ingredients, which are often high in calories too.

I travel frequently and sometimes my stomach has hard times adjusting to new places and food. I’ve tried Acai Berry yogurt and it helps my stomach to reduce stress and stay healthier. It is the best and tastiest remedy I’ve ever tried. I hope, that Yoplait will help me to stay light, full of energy and a happy with my health woman.
