I was over at Betty Crocker and found an adorable Easter cupcake recipe: Chirpy Chick Cupcakes. It looked simple enough – a good thing since this whole kid thing is forcing me to become acquainted with my kitchen…. very uncomfortable, haha.  Well, I didn’t put as much thought into the size of the candy for the eyes and beaks. {Note to self: pay more attention to these details in the future.}  As a result, our adorable chickies look like some scary creature of goo.  The good news is that we had lots of fun making them, regardless of how they actually turned out (and ended up eating a bit too much cake batter…. Shhhh…..).

(OK, it is really weird how the flash made parts of my yellow wall look white…..)
