Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey, the new feature-length animated release from Universal Studios Home Entertainment, and the followup to Curious George, released in 2006, delighted my three year old, and yes… I admit it… me as well.
Curious George is known for always getting himself into messes, and though he doesn’t dissapoint in his newest feature, it is as heartwarming as it is hilarious.
Curious George makes instant friends with Kayla The Elephant during a magic show, and upon learning Kayla’s elephant family is in California, George decided to help them reunite! The antic-filled adventure ensues… Ted , aka The Man With The Yellow Hat, just does catch up with George and Kayla before the train starts rolling away. Hot on their heels is an over-eager and clumsy detective that means well, but seems lacking in people skills; after them for what he thinks is elephant theft. Along the way they meet new friends and The Man With The Yellow Hat learns alot about priorities and what is most important.
All-Star Voice Cast: Tim Curry, Jamie Kennedy, Matt Lauer, Frank Welker, and Jerry Lewis. Music from legendary songwriter Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.
